In the Mycoverse, all creatures emerge from mushrooms at birth, and carry their distinctive mushroom caps their whole lives. 50 different types of mushrooms have been discovered (to date). Forecasters say that early next year, elves are going to start emerging from their mushrooms. Will you be one of them?
The Collection
We’re starting with Elves of the Mycoverse—a collection of 3,333 elves with over 250 unique traits. There are three distinct species of elves—city (most common), woodland, and fairy (most rare). Occasionally, a unique elf is discovered, which doesn’t belong to any of the three species.

City Elves
City elves live a similar lifestyle to humans, and build their sprawling cities at the edge of forests.
Woodland Elves
Woodland elves can only be found deep in the forest. They can use healing magic through their bond with nature.
Fairy Elves
Fairy elves live in cities in the sky. They spend their days flying from cloud to cloud, looking to cause a bit of mischief.
Unique Elves
A new unique elf is only spotted once per century... rumors say some of them resemble zombies, ghosts, or even solid gold 😳

Nifty Generator tool release
As part of our mission to onboard the next 1 million artists into the metaverse, we want to use what we’ve learned from the Mycoverse to help other creators! We’ve turned our code from this project into an easy tool that any artist can use to randomly generate NFTs with different sets of traits (complete with metadata). We’ll be releasing it for free, to everyone, but Mycoverse NFT holders will get premium features and priority access to future tools!

We’ll open a merch shop featuring mushroom and Mycoverse-themed goods. We’re planning to have custom enamel pins, tees, and other merch. We’ll also be taking special requests to make custom pieces of merch with your own unique Mycoverse character!

Mycoverse x Minymon collaboration
Minymons are NFT pets that live on your website and can answer common questions, gather feedback, and entertain visitors. Mycoverse residents will receive an exclusive Mycoverse minymon that you can customize for your own website (like the one living at the corner of this site!).

Virtual foraging trips
Rather than a simple airdrop, we’re creating a virtual foraging experience where you can forage for your own new mushroom NFTs! Token holders will be granted entry into a digital forest where you’ll have a set time limit to search for and uncover new NFTs (we’re still working on the experience, but here’s a snapshot from our prototype!).

We want our community to help us decide how to grow the Mycoverse in the future. We have lots of ideas—artist collaborations, story books, 3D Mycoverse characters—but we want you to choose!

10% of minting profits will be donated to nonprofit organizations supporting outdoor and environmental education. We'll decide as a community which organizations to donate to.

Hi, we’re Kat, & Matt! We’ve been obsessed with mushroom foraging (IRL) for a long time, and wanted to bring this love to the NFT world. We’ve worked as a team for many years, and we've always cared about supporting artists and creators. Now, we want to extend our mission to a community—the Mycoverse. Boogs started as one of the first members of the Mycoverse community—we hope you'll join us as well!

The Mycoverse runs on Solana
Many popular NFT projects use the Ethereum blockchain, which consumes enormous amounts of energy and has incredibly expensive gas fees. The Mycoverse is built on the Solana blockchain instead to minimize our environmental impact. It takes more energy to boil an ounce of room temperature water than to mint an NFT on Solana!
